George R. Duthie, AIA
Mr. Duthie holds the position of Principal at FVF. He has over twenty years of experience, and is well versed in all aspects of school design and construction, including pre-referendum planning, regulatory requirements, construction documents, bidding, cost analysis, and construction administration. His attention to detail, management and quality control expertise have been major factors in ensuring that the original design intentions of our buildings are realized. George is also the Senior Associate-in-Charge of our construction administration department.
Mr. Duthie has dealt skillfully with the myriad of issues which occur with construction projects and has earned the respect of many of the firm’s clients. In addition, George has been the Project Associate for many projects and has been responsible for complete oversight from inception to completion. He has extensive knowledge in the areas of pre-referendum planning, governmental requirements, scope development, scheduling, budgeting and project management.
As a senior member of the firm George has been instrumental in the collaborative development and implementation of many in-house procedural and organizational initiatives which have improved the firm’s practice and ability to serve its clients.
