The Hunterdon Central Regional High School Board of Education, 84 Route 31, Flemington, NJ 08822 is asking bids for Fire Alarm Panel Replacement at the 9-10 Academic Building for the Hunterdon Central Regional High School, 84 Route 31, Flemington, NJ, 08822 (FVF #4012), together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by prepared by Faridy Veisz Fraytak, PC Architects/Planners, 1515 Lower Ferry Road, P.O. Box 7371, Trenton, NJ 08628, telephone number 609-883-7101, New Jersey.

Sealed bids will be received as follows: SINGLE OVERALL CONTRACT

Bids for the above will be received by the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Business Administrator in the Business Office, located at 84 Route 31, Flemington, NJ, 08822, at 1:30 P.M. (Prevailing Time) on July 8, 2010, and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in the Business Office.

Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents for the proposed Work are on file at the office of the Architect listed above and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. The Contract Documents may be purchased from the Architect upon payment of $150.00 (One Hundred Fifty Dollars) for each set, per each building project, with a limit of three (3) sets per bidder. Additional sets may be purchased at the Architect's costs. Checks should be made payable to Faridy Veisz Fraytak, PC. If the bidder requests the bidding documents be mailed, the bidder must provide their direct shipping account number to the Architect. The Architect assumes responsibility for placing the package for delivery only and not for proper and/or timely delivery of said package. Payments will be returned to bidders only upon prompt return of bid documents in good condition. A FEDERAL EXPRESS OR UPS ACCOUNT NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR SHIPMENT OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.

Estimated Cost: $40,000

Scope of Work:

Replacement of existing Simplex graphic command center with new Simplex graphic command center (TruSite workstation and specified accessories).

Substantial completion date: August 27, 2010

a.Questions will not be received or answered verbally. Direct all questions pertaining to the project as shown and described in the contract documents to the project designer listed below.

b.All communications must be sent by one of the following forms:

(1)U.S. Postal First Class Mail
(2)Electronic Facsimile
(3)Overnight and common carrier delivery (UPS, Fed-X, DSL, etc.)

(A) All Pre-Bid Request for Information must state in the Subject Line: "PRE-BID REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION".

(B)All Bidder correspondence must clearly indicate project identification FVF-4011 , the construction company name, author’s name, address, phone #, facsimile # and the addressee of the communication.

(C)E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS (PRE & POST BID): The use of E-mail is prohibited. Information transmitted via this form of communication will not be recognized as a valid form of communication, and will not be responded to.

c. Failure to submit for questions or request for information shall be
deemed a waiver for any claims for future compensation regarding discrepancies within the Contract Documents. The submission of Price Proposal is conclusive evidence that the Bidder has completely reviewed the Contract Documents and fully understands and agrees to all the requirements, terms, conditions set forth therein.
