The Clearview Regional School District, Gloucester County, New Jersey, is asking bids for New Athletic Fields - Phase 1 at the Clearview Regional Middle School (FVF#4053), located at 595 Jefferson Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08602, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by Faridy Veisz Fraytak, PC Architects/Planners, 1515 Lower Ferry Road, P.O. Box 7371, Trenton, NJ 08628, telephone number 609-883-7101.
Sealed bids will be received as follows: Single Overall Contract
Bids will be received at the Clearview Regional School Board of Education Offices, 420 Cedar Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on April 22, 2010, and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter.
Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents for the proposed Work are on file at the office of the Architect listed above and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. The Contract Documents may be purchased from the Architect upon payment of $150.00 (One Hundred Fifty Dollars) for each set, per each building project, with a limit of three (3) sets per bidder. Additional sets may be purchased at the Architect's costs. Checks should be made payable to Faridy Veisz Fraytak, PC. If the bidder requests the bidding documents be mailed, the bidder must provide their direct shipping account number to the Architect. The Architect assumes responsibility for placing the package for delivery only and not for proper and/or timely delivery of said package. Payments will be returned to bidders only upon prompt return of bid documents in good condition. A FEDERAL EXPRESS OR UPS ACCOUNT NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR SHIPMENT OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.

Estimated construction cost: $350,000.
Project Scope:
Construct new competition level multi-purpose field with natural turf.
Construct new storm water facilities.
Construct retaining wall and fencing.
Construct access roads and pathways.
Alternate bids:
1. Increase height of chain link fence
2. Ball stopper system
3. Portable aluminum players benches
4. Standard duty pavement section and striping
Schedule:
Milestone No. 1: Start of work on or about 6/7/10
Milestone No. 2: Completion of permanent seeding for Fall 2010 planting season no later than 10/1/10.
Milestone No. 3: Substantial completion- completion of required overseeding and maintenance for the Spring 2011 planting season no later than 4/29/11. Acceptance of work upon establishment of a full, healthy stand of grass by contractor.
