For almost a century, we have provided professional services to the communities throughout New Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. More than 1,100 projects have been completed since the early 1950’s. Our extensive experience with design of Pre-K, K-12, and Higher Educational facilities constitutes 90% of our business market.

Our practice is built on a foundation of principles: highly specialized knowledge, total commitment, and responsive service, all of which lead to creative, responsible and cost-effective design solutions.
As designers of the built environment, we believe that the best design solution comes through a collaborative process based on gaining a complete understanding of our client’s needs and project goals and exploring viable design concepts to accomplish them. Budgetary constraints are met by providing guidance to prioritize project goals.
Throughout the ages, humanity has created structures that stir the imagination. Today's schools and other public buildings can also be uplifting and inspiring, enhancing the simple experience of working and learning. Perfecting an environment where people can feel and do their best involves a tremendous number of disciplines, reflected in the services we offer.
Using a highly individualized, collaborative approach, our team of professionals research, evaluate, and listen to the needs of those to be served by the facility before commencing the design process. The team continues to work closely with the client from the planning stage through design, approvals, construction documents, bidding and award, construction and post construction services.
It's the harmonious union of all of these programs and disciplines that yield open and welcoming spaces; in effect, they are living, breathing facilities that contribute to the well-being and performance of those who work and learn there.

We embrace the challenges presented through the US Green Building Council's LEED Green Building Rating System™ by implementing LEED design principles and viewing them as opportunities to create non-traditional solutions to traditional design problems. The resulting solutions provide our clients with buildings that not only satisfy their building program, but also enhance their place within the community at large as responsible stewards of their environment and its resources.

As President of the firm, Dave Fraytak, with more than 45 years experience, has played a vital role leading the firm’s success and continued advancement and growth. Dave’s credentials include professional planning. Joined by John Veisz, Secretary/Treasurer, with more than 32 years experience, the firm has excelled in providing diverse design experience, varied expertise and quality service to its clients. John’s expertise includes certification as a sustainable building advisor through the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program, roof consulting, forensic investigation of building envelope failures and litigation support services.
We are pleased to announce the elevation of Ted Hopkins and George Duthie to principals of the firm. Ted and George each have over a 20 year history of providing management support to the firm and its clients. Ted Hopkins, as a LEED Accredited Professional and supported by the other partners, heads the firm’s advancement and integration of sustainable building design principals including US Green Building Counsel, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED. George Duthie has been instrumental in advancing the firms capabilities, automation and standardization of the firm’s procedures for capital project planning and budgeting for our clients. George also manages the firm’s construction administration department activities and is a leader in the firm’s solar design group.
The diverse background of each partner complements one another’s administrative styles and offers the firm’s clients a broader level of service. Each partner will remain intimately involved in the management, design and development and construction administration of each project.

It is this personal commitment by Dave, John, Ted, George and the entire management staff that is a testimony of our firm’s business success over its ninety-two year history and our numerous long term professional client relationships, many exceeding 25 years!
